Hi everyone! My name is Elisa.
I’m an incoming exchange student at City University of Hong Kong from 24 August to 20 December 2026. I normally study and live in Rotterdam, I’m originally from Mexico, and I have a Spanish passport. I’m still waiting for my student visa, but I already have my CityU acceptance letter.
I’m looking for a furnished room to stay in. I in a shared flat, student house, homestay, or sublet. My budget range is around €300–€900/month, which is approximately HK$2,700–HK$8,100/month, but ideally I’d love to keep it as low as possible so I can also travel, explore, and make the most of my exchange.
Preferred areas: near CityU / Kowloon Tong, Sham Shui Po, Prince Edward, Mong Kok, Tai Wai, Sha Tin, Ma On Shan, or anywhere with reasonable MTR access to CityU.
A bit about me: I’m a very bubbly and social girl, and I’m super excited for this exchange! I’m clean, respectful, and easy to live with (I’ve lived with roommates for the past three years and theyve become some of my closest friends)
I love walking around and exploring new places, and I’m really excited to discover different neighborhoods in Hong Kong, as well as the hiking trails. I’d love to live somewhere friendly and social, especially with other students or young people, but I’m also respectful of people’s space and routines.
